1. Introduction

These Product Terms & Conditions apply to all physical and digital products purchased from Lee Button Photography (“we”, “us”, “our”). By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

2. Product Types Covered

These terms apply to, but are not limited to:

  • Digital image downloads

  • Printed photographs

  • Albums and photobooks

  • Framed prints

  • Canvas prints

  • Gift vouchers

  • Custom-designed products

3. Ordering Process

  • Orders are placed through our website, online gallery, or directly via email.

  • Once an order is submitted, you will receive confirmation via email.

  • Orders are considered final once payment is received.

4. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are listed in GBP unless stated otherwise.

  • Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering.

  • Prices may change at any time, but confirmed orders will not be affected.

5. Digital Products

5.1 Delivery

  • Digital files are delivered electronically via download link or email.

  • Delivery is typically immediate or within 48 hours depending on the product.

5.2 Usage Rights

  • Digital images are for personal use only, unless a commercial licence is purchased.

  • You may print, share, and store the images for personal use.

  • You may not resell, edit, or distribute images for commercial purposes without permission.

5.3 Refunds

  • Digital products are non‑refundable once delivered.

6. Physical Products

6.1 Production & Delivery

  • Production times vary depending on the product type.

  • Estimated delivery times will be provided at checkout or via email.

  • Delivery delays caused by couriers or external factors are outside our control.

6.2 Quality Assurance

  • All products are checked before dispatch.

  • Minor variations in colour, tone, or crop may occur due to printing processes.

6.3 Damaged or Faulty Items

If your product arrives damaged or defective:

  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery

  • Provide photos of the issue

  • We will arrange a replacement at no additional cost

6.4 Returns

  • Custom or personalised items (prints, albums, framed products) are non‑returnable unless faulty.

  • Non‑custom items may be returned within 14 days, unused and in original packaging.

7. Turnaround Times

Typical production times:

  • Digital downloads: 0–48 hours

  • Prints: 3–7 working days

  • Albums: 2–4 weeks

  • Framed/canvas products: 1–3 weeks

These are estimates and may vary during busy periods.

8. Colour Accuracy

·       Due to differences in screen calibration:

  • Colours may appear slightly different in print compared to on-screen previews

  • We cannot guarantee exact colour matching

9. Gift Vouchers

  • Valid for 12 months from the date of purchase

  • Non‑refundable

  • Cannot be exchanged for cash

  • Must be used in a single transaction unless otherwise agreed.

  • ZSL Discounts code for staff and volunteers will be on ZSL Engage {yammer} Lee Button profile page. Sorry No Code No Discount

  • 10. Copyright

  • All images remain the copyright of Lee Button Photography.

  • Purchasing a product does not transfer copyright.

  • Personal-use licences are included with most products; commercial licences must be purchased separately.

11. Order Changes & Cancellations

  • Changes can be made within 24 hours of ordering, provided production has not begun.

  • Custom products cannot be cancelled once production has started.

12. Liability

We are not responsible for:

  • Delays caused by third‑party suppliers or couriers

  • Loss or damage caused by incorrect delivery information

  • Issues arising from improper handling or storage of products

Our liability is limited to the value of the product purchased.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Clients may request to reschedule subject to availability.

  • Cancellations may result in loss of deposit.

  • If we must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued.

5. Image Delivery

  • Images are delivered digitally unless otherwise agreed.

  • Typical delivery time is [14 - 30 days], but this may vary depending on workload.

  • Final images are edited at our discretion to maintain consistent quality.

6. Copyright & Usage

  • All images remain the copyright of Lee Button Photography unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Clients receive a licence for personal use (or commercial use if specified).

  • Images may not be altered or resold without permission.

7. Photographer’s Portfolio Rights

We may use images for:

  • Portfolio

  • Website

  • Social media

  • Marketing materials

Only with your explicit consent, obtained via a model release or written agreement.

8. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate information

  • Ensure permissions for locations and participants

  • Behave respectfully during sessions

9. Liability

We are not liable for:

  • Loss or damage caused by events beyond our control

  • Delays due to technical issues or force majeure

  • Injuries or accidents at photoshoot locations

Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service.

10. Website Use

You agree not to:

  • Misuse the website

  • Attempt to access restricted areas

  • Copy or distribute website content without permission

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be posted on this page.

Refund & Cancellation Policy for Lee Button Photography

1. General Overview

This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines how cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds are handled for services provided by Lee Button Photography (“we”, “us”, “our”). For any questions, contact lee@leebutton.photography.

2. Booking Fees & Deposits

  • A non‑refundable booking fee or deposit is required to secure your session date.

  • This fee covers administrative time, planning, and the loss of potential bookings for that date.

  • The booking fee is deducted from the final balance.

3. Client Cancellations

3.1 Standard Sessions (portraits, family, headshots, etc.)

  • Cancellations made more than 7 days before the session:

    • No refund of the booking fee

    • Any additional payments may be refunded

  • Cancellations made within 7 days of the session:

    • Booking fee is non‑refundable

    • 50% of the remaining balance may still be due if significant preparation has been completed

3.2 Event or Commercial Photography

  • Cancellations made more than 30 days before the event:

    • Booking fee is non‑refundable

    • Any additional payments may be refunded

  • Cancellations made within 30 days of the event:

    • Booking fee is non‑refundable

    • Up to 50% of the full agreed fee may still be payable due to reserved time and preparation

4. Rescheduling

4.1 Client‑Requested Rescheduling

  • You may request to reschedule your session once at no additional cost, subject to availability.

  • Additional rescheduling requests may incur a fee.

  • If a suitable date cannot be agreed, the booking will be treated as a cancellation.

4.2 Weather‑Related Rescheduling

For outdoor sessions:

  • If weather conditions make the shoot impractical or unsafe, we will reschedule at no extra cost.

  • If the client chooses to cancel instead of rescheduling, the booking fee remains non‑refundable.

5. Photographer Cancellations

In the rare event that we must cancel due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond our control:

  • You will be offered a rescheduled date

  • If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund will be issued, including the booking fee

  • We may assist in finding an alternative photographer, but cannot guarantee availability

6. Refunds After the Session

Refunds are not provided once:

  • The session has taken place

  • Images have been delivered

  • Editing work has begun

If you are unhappy with your images, we encourage you to contact us so we can discuss solutions such as additional editing or a reshoot where appropriate.

7. Digital Products & Prints

  • Digital images, once delivered, are non‑refundable.

  • Printed products cannot be refunded unless they arrive damaged or defective.

  • Any issues must be reported within 7 days of receiving the product.

8. Late Arrivals & No‑Shows

  • Late arrivals may result in reduced shooting time.

  • If you are more than 20 minutes late without notice, the session may be treated as a no‑show.

  • No‑shows are non‑refundable and may require full payment of the remaining balance.
